How many times does Dorian have to ask for respect? Damn! She can't get it from any of the men with whom she has been involved it seems. While she has done some wretched things in recent weeks, generally speaking, she is wonderful to the men in her life when she is involved with them.
Recently, I have been disgusted as David Vickers flaunted his relationship with Dorian's just out of the mental hospital sister Addie Cramer. I mean he is having sex with Addie a few doors down from Dorian's bedroom. They are living off of Dorian, too! Puhleeze! While Addie is going into it with her eyes wide-open, I have lost respect for Addie as well (though I give her more leeway) since she chooses to rub this relationship in her sister's face and constantly asks if she is jealous. Dorian is concerned about Addie's well-being even though Addie claims to not be blind about David's interest in her. Dorian knows David very well and she knows her sister. If she is concerned, there is a reason for it.
That aside, I see this all as karma for Dorian because of her evil actions involving Charlie. Though she no longer has a romantic interest in David, she is jealous because she tends to be possessive long after she has ended the relationship with her suitors. So this is torture for her. David is pretty much a zero for me these days and his being concerned about Viki's happiness just underscores my discontent with him. He can give up $10 million at the mere thought that Viki is disappointed in him but he has to torture Dorian for money he feels owed him for keeping his mouth shut about Natalie and Jared. And if memory serves me correctly, Dorian offered him a percentage of CE to leave her sister alone. He declined I guess to keep torturing her. And then he had the nerve to threaten Dorian with never seeing her sister again?! Oh and this from David to Viki about a $1 lotto ticket: "I was happy just because you gave it to me." Be gone, David!

I am plenty anxious for the return of Mel Hayes -- not just the spirit but Mel's portrayer, Stephen Markle. OLTL will actually turn 40 on July 15, 2008 but the show will recognize the anniversary with special episodes on July 21 and July 22. Markle will be a part of the celebratory shows. In TV Guide, OLTL Head Writer Ron Carlivati said, "Vicki will go up the elevator encountering all sorts of dead characters along the way." The article mentions that among the former stars making "angelic returns" are Phil Carey(Asa), Mark Derwin(Ben), Stephen Markle (Mel). Erin Torpey is expected in heaven as Jessica's daughter, Megan and Viki will get a visit from OLTL's legendary creator, Agnes Nixon.
Things seem to be coming to a head with Charlie and his getting to the truth of what happened the night that he was discovered drunken in an alley. I am also anticipating the continuation of the Cramer Enterprises/Buchanan Takeover storyline. Firstly, I'd like to see more of Dorian in the office and secondly, I am curious as to the financial disposition of the company, particularly with David siphoning Dorian's personal finances via Addie. There are lots of possibilities in terms of story. But first, can Addie and David move in with Viki? Yeah, that works.
